Kat Glover

COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING SPECIALIST

A Triad native, Kat Glover graduated from Wesleyan Christian Academy, then ventured to the North Carolina mountains to study marketing at Appalachian State University.

During college, she worked as the social media manager and a retail sales associate at Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff and interned in the marketing department at Volvo Group.

Kat’s creative spirit isn’t limited to her work. She enjoys painting, crafting and participating in musical theatre – both as an audience member and performer. She has volunteered as an actor, stagehand, set designer and social media promoter for more than a dozen High Point Community Theatre productions. Offstage, you can find Kat relaxing at home with her five cats and a Dr. Pepper.

shift_ed marks Kat’s first full-time job after graduating. The organization’s mission drew her in. “This nonprofit has gifted me with an opportunity to directly impact scholars by equitably providing resources to students who would otherwise not have them,” she says. “We are making a difference in so many people’s lives and I am grateful to be a part of it.”
