Donation Guidelines

The Teacher Supply Warehouse in Greensboro will be moving to a new location in Greensboro and is currently not accepting donations. We are very excited about this transition and need to prioritize setting up the new space. We will begin accepting donations as soon as we can, so watch this space for more information! We are also not accepting donations at the High Point location, yet.

The Teacher Supply Warehouse locations in Greensboro and High Point are currently closed while we work on renovations and restocking.

Both locations will re-open in mid-July for our busy back-to-school season. We look very forward to welcoming everyone to the new Greensboro Warehouse location at 134 Franklin Blvd. soon. It will offer increased parking and more expansive retail space. Watch your email for more information in the spring! While we are closed, we will not be accepting donations. If you have any questions, please reach out Lenny Patterson at lenny@shift-ed.org. Thank you!

Warehouse Information

The Teacher Supply Warehouse in High Point is located at Oak View Elementary on 614 Oak View Road, High Point, 27265 in the mobile units off of James Road. This warehouse is open to anyone with a GCS ID and/or email.

The average NC teacher spends $1600 of their own money on classroom supplies. The Teacher Supply Warehouse is a community collaboration designed to off-set those costs by providing high-demand, every-day classroom supplies to Guilford County Schools (GCS) educators.

We are only able to operate the Warehouse because of the generous support of our community.

GCS teachers and educators – Bring your GCS I.D. to your shopping appointment. GCS educators can shop up to 4 times a year. Anyone with a GCS I.D. can shop at the Teacher Supply Warehouse!

How the Teacher Supply Warehouse Works

Currently, the TSW in Greensboro is moving and undergoing renovation. The Teacher Supply Warehouse in High Point has a small gently-used section and functions on a smaller scale, while continuing to provide the much-needed support for students and educators.

The Teacher Supply Warehouse is divided up into 2 different sections. At each visit, GCS teachers can shop in both areas for a variety of items up to 4 times a year.

TSW Basics

  • Supplies: The high-demand basics like paper, pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers, copy paper and more.
  • How It Works: At each visit, teachers are allotted a set amount of points for shopping in this section. Each item will have a point assigned to it.

TSW Extra

  • Supplies: A wide variety of new and gently-used items, including office supplies, copy and craft paper, desk organizers, plastic bins, art supplies, presentation boards, books and much more!
  • How It Works: There are NO limits in this section so be prepared to stock up on some amazing items!
