Principal for a Day 2026

On Wednesday, March 4, you are invited to step into a school for the morning and get a first-hand look at one of the toughest jobs in our community – school principal. Community members will shadow an assigned principal from 8am to 11:30 am, then join your principal for lunch and short program from 12n – 1 pm at Guilford County Schools’ new Community Education Center. Cost is $40.00 per participant. This popular program was first started by Guilford Education Alliance (GEA). Registration is currently closed for this event.
